They ask you about the Hour: When will it take place? Say: The knowledge of the Hour belongs to my Lord. Only He will reveal its timing. The weight of the secrecy surrounding it burden the inhabitants of the heavens and the earth. It will come upon you suddenly, catching you unaware. They question you as if you had knowledge about it! Say: Only God has that knowledge! But most people do not know.

A Bedouin asked the Messenger of God - peace and blessings be upon him -: "When will the Hour take place?"

"Even if the Hour is already here, what have you prepared for that moment?" replied the Prophet.

“By God, O Messenger of God,” answered the Bedouin, “I have not multiplied prayers or pious deeds, but I love God and His Messenger.” “Rejoice,” said the Prophet, “you will be with those whom you love!” (Bukhari)
